Our modular homes offer our clients the cost effectiveness of modular coupled with the creativity of our inhouse design staff. We offer an endless array of features for your home, and the design experience to tie it all together. Each of our homes are tailored to our client’s site and their living needs. Stick built Homes
Project managed or general contracted, we can take your project from the initial stages of design and permitting - to completion. Utilize our in home design services, or we will be happy to work in conjunction with your architect/designer.
Stick-built & Modular Integrated Homes
With over 18 years in home construction, more than 12 of which has been spent working directly with modular homes, we've become expert at understanding the way modular factories produce their products. By working with their systems, we can help plan designs that are not only affordable to build in the factory but also to finish on site. Once these plans are finalized, we help prepare a detailed specification for bidding purposes to the modular factory, and for work that will be completed on site. Having a total understanding of the factory process and the on-site assembly allows for better bidding, scheduling and estimating. This allows us to offer our clients the best of both worlds!
Colonial Revival Homes
Pre-engineering and component building is what makes it possible to build a house with efficiency and precision, and then ship it anywhere for final construction. This is not a new concept. In fact, house components were pre-cut and shipped from England to the American Colonies in the seventeenth century.
Design/Build Services
Our houses are designed by Linda Shafiroff. Linda has a degree in design, and has over twelve years in the design and construction field. Her designs are practical and beautiful - what a winning combination! Creative Building Solutions, LLC also works closely with many architects.
Project Management
The project management aspect of our business allows you to see exactly where your money is being spent. What does this mean? You see all the costs related to the construction of your new home. An educated consumer is better prepared to spend their money where it counts to them. Our fixed fee does not fluctuate from the beginning of your project to the end. We work for you – it is our job to make sure your job is done professionally and on budget. How is this different from a general contractor? You see how we get to the bottom line, and the bottom line does not change.
Commercial Projects
We have been hired by the architect running the affordable home project in Stockbridge, Pine Woods, to assist in design, planning, bidding, and completion of the modular units. This project has 13 buildings, some being duplexes, some multi-family, and some raised for parking below. We also assisted Richard Stanley with the Blue Hill Commons project in Great Barrington. We worked with architect, modular home factory, and developer to help this project get started.
